Our ‘Threads of History’ series is a celebration of humanity’s enduring relationship with design. From the earliest markings carved into stone, humans have always felt the need to create; to decorate, to tell stories, to make meaning from the world around them. Long before design was a discipline, it was a language: woven into clothing, etched into tools, painted onto walls, and passed from one generation to the next.

Across time and cultures, design has been inseparable from daily life — reflecting beliefs, rituals, status, and imagination. With Threads of History, each season explores a different era where creativity flourished, reinterpreting its symbols, textures, and stories through contemporary quilting and crafting cottons.

Our first collection draws inspiration from ancient Egypt, a civilisation where pattern, colour, and symbolism were deeply woven into life itself. From sacred motifs to ornamental geometry, their designs echo a world where making was meaningful, intentional, and timeless reminding us that every stitch today is connected to thousands of years of creative hands before us.
